MASERU – In a daring attack a group of gunmen hijacked a National Security Service (NSS) car in Sea point last Monday afternoon
The car was later found abandoned at Kokobela village cemetery in Maseru west.
NSS Director General Pheello Ralenkoane confirmed that incident.
He said investigations are underway.

“The driver was not harmed and nothing was taken from him, “he said.
Sources said while the NSS agent was driving in Sea point when a 4+1 taxi blocked its way.
Two armed men then jumped out of the taxi and pointed their guns at the driver.
Witnesses said they pulled the agent out of the car and ordered him to lie on the ground, before driving off.
“We are already working on the matter and it will be simple to arrest the perpetrators,” Ralenkoane said.

He said it is rare for their cars to be hijacked.
The car, thepost has learnt, is a private car rented to the government.
Police spokesman Superintendent Mpiti Mopeli, said he was not aware of the incident.
