MMB launches Castle Free non-alcoholic beer

MASERU – EVER wanted to enjoy a chill session with friends or family, drink as much as you want without getting intoxicated?
Basotho can now enjoy beer without fear of getting drunk with the introduction of Castle Free, an extension of the Castle Larger brand.
As an effort to contribute in building a society that drinks responsibly, the Maluti Mountain Brewery (MMB) launched Castle Free non-alcoholic beer on Tuesday.

This is the first alcohol-free beer to be introduced in the country by MMB, joining a global trend to cater to the market of sober and non-drinking adults.
Drinkers should however not panic as the Castle Free beer is brewed with the same ingredients as Castle Larger under the same standards that enable them to enjoy a real beer taste albeit without alcohol.

According to the Corporate Affairs Manager, ’Mathabang Fanyane, the launch of the Castle Free beer delivers on MMB’s public interest commitments to introduce initiatives that reduce harmful use of alcohol in Lesotho.
“The brewery has committed to introduce and promote new no- and lower-alcohol products on the market to encourage consumers to make lower-alcohol choices,” Fanyane said.
