Enduro World Series to burst into life

MASERU – This month’s edition of Lesotho Sky Cycling League has been postponed to next month due to unforeseen circumstances, organisers have announced.
However, this month is still full of action packed cycling competitions with two major races coming up at the end of the month.

The second edition of the Kingdom Enduro will take place from March 22 to 24.
The newly-formed off-road race started last year and organisers say it was a huge success and that some of the riders who normally participate in the Lesotho Sky Race in September have decided to enter into the Kingdom Enduro instead.

The exact routes and race area will be announced closer to the day of the race. There will be three to five stages per day ranging from three to 16 minutes and the trails and terrain are rocky, loose, technical and steep.
With the race also taking place in a highly remote area, organisers say to master the trails, riders will require good fitness and solid technical skills.

The much awaited edition of Red Bull Pump Track World Championship Qualifier will be held on March 30 in Roma. The winners from both boys and girls categories will travel to South Africa in June to participate in the World Championship Qualifiers.

The postponement of this month’s Sky Cycling League race means there will be two races next month.
Last month the African Dream Team dominated the senior category of the Sky Cycling League and 2016 Olympian Phetetso Monese is currently leading the pack in his category.
