Kick4Life bolsters squad

Maseru – Vodacom Premier League outfit Kick4Life made their intentions for the 2017/18 season clear this week by welcoming three new players to their roster.
The Old Europa side are looking to build on last season’s fine fourth-place league finish and have been determined to bolster their squad in the off-season.
They have succeeded.

On Tuesday, Kck4Life unveiled striker Bonang Mohapi, talented attacking midfielder Tšepang Ntsenyane and goalkeeper Rorisang Moabi.
All three have been poached on free transfers from Sky Battalion where they helped ‘SK’ finish fifth last season in what was the side’s debut Vodacom premiership campaign.
The trio provides quality and youthful vigour to Leslie Notši’s seasoned squad.

Bonang has signed a three-year contract; Ntsenyane has penned a two-year deal while Moabi has joined on a one-year contract with the option to renew for another year.
Welcoming the new signings, Kick4Life football director Chris Bullock praised their fine 2016/17 seasons with Sky Battalion and said the trio fits in with the club’s philosophy.
“All three of them, as you know, had a very good year last year with Sky Battalion in their first season in the premier league,” Bullock said.
“All three of them were recognised for their performances — some national team call-ups came along the way — and they are three players we feel will fit in with the philosophy of Kick4Life,” he said.

“They are going to settle in very quickly,” Bullock added.
“One of the three — Rorisang — was previously with the club so he knows the club well. The other boys as well, I think they will fit in with what we are all about and they are going to be a great asset to us.”

Bullock added that Kick4Life weren’t done in the transfer market.
“We have got couple more targets we would like to bring in, ideally to strengthen one or two areas,” he said.
“At the moment we are still looking at our budget and negotiating with players but we are hoping to bring another one or two players before the season starts.”
Also speaking at Tuesday’s unveiling, Kick4Life coach Notši said he is expecting his new signings to produce the same displays from last season and, most importantly, enjoy their games.
“I am expecting what I have been seeing from them this past season,” Notši said.

“The moment I heard they were free and available I talked to the management (to see) if they can secure the services of these players knowing what they can do on the field of play. The work ethic they have synchronises with what we are as Kick4Life. There is no pressure on them. All we would like from them is to enjoy the beautiful game, work hard and try by all means to make a difference,” he added.

The signings come at a good time with Kick4Life striker Thabiso Brown still undergoing trials at Bloemfontein Celtic in South Africa. Brown scored 17 goals for the club last season and is hoping to win himself a contract with the Premier Soccer League side.

Kick4Life enjoyed a blistering 2016/2017 season finishing fourth in the league for the first time after making their premiership debut just three years ago.
To add to their impressive league campaign, Kick4Life reached the semi-finals of the Lesotho National Insurance Group (LNIG) Top 8. The club hopes this week’s three additions will keep Kick4Life on their upward curve.
