Mammoth unveils Likhopo kit

MASERU – Mammoth Employee Benefits has officially unveiled Likhopo’s new kit for the 2019/20 season.
Three weeks ago, the company announced a one-year performance based sponsorship of the Econet Premier League club worth M100 000.
As part of the sponsorship Likhopo have ditched their traditional red and white colours this season and will instead don Mammoth’s corporate magenta colours.

The total cost of the kit package, which includes training gear and tracksuits, is M39 000 and Likhopo head coach Halemakale Mahlaha said the team will work hard to fulfil promises they have made to their sponsors.
Likhopo won their first game of the Econet Premier League season last Saturday beating Liphakoe 4-1 and they will play with their new colours this weekend when they take on struggling Swallows.

Mahlaha said the deal is emotional for him because this is the third time with three different clubs such a deal happens to him.
He said Likhopo are ready to kick-start their campaign.
If Likhopo finish in the top four of the Econet Premier League this season the sponsorship with Mammoth will be extended by another year.
Likhopo are currently in eighth place with seven points from their six games.
Likhopo’s home kit is dominated by Mammoth’s corporate colours of magenta with a dash of yellow on the shoulders.

The away jersey is dominated by off-white colours and a touch of magenta while the goalkeeper kits have both colours.
“We promise changes; even the way we play (will change). It is a challenge for us to make sure Mammoth is happy and we are going to work hard,” Mahlaha said.

Mammoth’s chief finance officer, Tumelo Lepota, said the company is delighted with Likhopo’s kit.
“(The kit) came out exactly the way we imagined it and it was made in agreement with the club,” he said.
Lepota said Mammoth is encouraged by Likhopo’s recent results and he expressed confidence ‘the Red Army’ would crack the Econet Premier League’s top four this season.
